How we handle uPVC rooflines
Rotten fascias and leaking gutters spoil the look of a home and let water get to the timbers. We strip the old roofline back and replace it with quality uPVC fascias, soffits and guttering that never need painting. It pairs well with a new roof, since the scaffold is already up.
Everything is fixed properly to sound timber, ventilated where required, and finished with new guttering and downpipes sized to cope with Scottish weather.
A roofline job is a good moment to check the roof edge properly, so our free survey also looks at the tiles, felt and timbers behind the old boards. Everything, including the new guttering and downpipes, is set out in a written, itemised quote before we start.

No. Capping over rotten timber hides the problem. We strip back to sound timber first, then fit the new roofline properly.
Can you just replace the gutters?
Yes. Gutter and downpipe replacement is available on its own where your fascias are still in good condition.
What colours are available?
White is standard, with black, anthracite and woodgrain finishes available. We will show you the options at your survey.
How long does a roofline replacement take?
Most full fascia, soffit and gutter replacements are finished within a few days depending on the size of the house.
Does uPVC roofline need any maintenance?
An occasional wash is all it needs. Unlike timber there is no painting, sanding or rot to deal with.
